Patriot’s Pen essay contest
Grades 6, 7, 8
2010-2011 Theme
"Does Patriotism Still Matter?"
Prizes: $1,000-10,000
Deadline: November 1, 2010
Contestants write a 300-400 word essay based on an annual patriotic theme. The first-place winner receives a $10,000 savings bond and an all-expense-paid trip to Washington D.C. The top national winners each receive a savings bond anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000.

U of E Open House

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. (CDT). By visiting campus during an Open House, you will have the opportunity to:
* Speak to faculty from all academic departments and student life offices
* Take a campus tour led by a current UE student
* Attend information sessions about scholarships and financial aid
* Meet with admission counselors
* Be our guests for lunch

USI Southern Hospitality Day

A Southern Hospitality Day provides students with an opportunity to visit our campus. The program is designed to give you the necessary information to help with the college decision making process. You may submit your application during the program, but there will be no class registration or academic advising provided.

Greater Evansville College Fair

The Greater Evansville College Fair has been an annual event for over twenty years. The program is the joint effort of the University of Southern Indiana, the University of Evansville, Ivy Tech State College, A Community of College of Indiana Partner, Oakland City University, Vincennes University, the five high school of the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation, Evansville parochial schools, and other high schools in southern Indiana. These secondary schools have a combined junior/senior enrollment of over 10,000 students.
The Greater Evansville College Fair is held at the University of Southern Indiana on the first Sunday of October each year from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The College Fair includes a shoppers fair where students have the opportunity to meet with college representatives from across the nation. Sessions on N.C.A.A. eligibility and two-year colleges run concurrent to the shoppers fair.
